Cindy Irving is head Producer at London based Happy Girl Films co - founded with Production Designer Andy Nicholson (Assassins Creed, Gravity, Divergent, The Host,) in 2011.
Cindy has produced feature films, commercials and documentaries.
In 2012 Happy Girl Films, alongside Hurdin Katz, is producing the trans-continental love story, Things I Like, an original screenplay by Director Mark Nunneley (BBC’s 15 Storeys High, Ridley Scott Associates).
Happy Girl Films and Forward Films are developing and producing the political thriller, 1963, based on the life story of writer Clive Irving and his part in the fall of the British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan.
Also developing and producing, alongside Met Film Production, the historical thriller, Ida, based on the David and Goliath true-life story, of American journalist, Ida Tarbell and the first oil tycoon John D. Rockefeller
Happy Girl Films is producing, alongside Los Angeles producing partner Malcolm Reeve (The Pillars of the Earth, Cracks, Life In A Day) an International T.V serial based on the Reginald Hill novel, the mystery-thriller, The Stranger House.
Also the feature film based on the Kathleen Tessaro novel, the romantic-comedy, Elegance, developed and produced by Happy Girl Films, Hurdin Katz and Bob&Co.
Additional film and television projects are in development.
Cindy Irving co-produced David Baddiel’s comedy The Infidel, Cosima Spender’s feature documentary Without Gorky and was Line Producer on Slingshot/Met Films Production, French Film starring Hugh Bonneville and Eric Cantona.
Cindy worked as a Unit Production Manager on Oliver Stone’s Alexander, Terrence Malick’s The New World, Tony Scott’s Spy Game and she was a Production Manager on Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.
She was previously a Commercials Producer for many UK and US production companies (Ridley Scott Associates, Propaganda Films, Paul Weiland Film co)
